I am an award winning Actress, Director and Stage Combat professional working throughout the UK in film, television, theatre and radio. On this site you may view my CV, reels and photos of me in action.
With nearly 20 years experience in the industry, I have had the pleasure of performing in many amazing productions all across the UK, through various media. From new writing to Shakespeare, on screen, stage and radio, I am proud to bring any character to life. In 2014, I was recognised with a Manchester Theatre Award and a Studio Theatre Award for my performance in the one woman show The Alphabet Girl.
I am one of only three women on the Equity Register of Fight Directors, providing a bespoke professional service to bring the highest quality of innovative fight choreography to any production. With an informal, collaborative and friendly approach, I can boast repeat business with many theatres and directors, assuring that no setting or angle is impossible. I love the challenge of creating up close and personal action, encompassing everything from a simple slap to silly slapstick routines, tricksy sword fights, massive brawls and gruesome realistic violence. My particular speciality is working with techniques designed and developed for in-the-round staging.
As a fully qualified Stage Combat Senior Instructor, I teach and examine across the UK with the Equity ratified Stage Combat organisation The Academy of Performance Combat. I have taught in many of the UK’s leading drama schools and run private courses regularly, which culminate in industry recognised performance certifications in a wide variety of weapon systems.
My newest passion working in theatre and on screen. Happy with both contemporary and classical text, I endeavour to bring heart, imagination and detail to any storytelling experience.
